This special event is in honour of the world premiere of The Legends of Them by Sutara Gayle AKA Lorna Gee, which opens at Brixton House from 14-30 September.

Olive Brooklyn 
With deep ties to Brixton’s music scene, Olive Brooklyn’s journey is noteworthy. From the 1980s onwards, she displayed her skills on stages and collaborated with sounds like Small Axe, Luv Injection, Youth and Promotion, and First Class Sound. Olive has also shared many stages with some of the greatest male and female artists, emphasizing the lasting impact of music and creativity on those who cherish authentic artistry.

Lioness Fonts 
Lioness Fonts, born in the Caribbean Island of Dominica is a Conscious Reggae artist hailing from London UK. A singer/songwriter and producer versatile in her deliverance Lioness Fonts is a modern day artist who is a throw back from the classic Reggae era continuing the tradition of story telling in her own unique way.  With two albums released, Lioness Fonts has worked extensively with Reggae producers in Europe giving them her brand of Reggae. This modern day Nubian Queen presents in her own unique style – a force to be heard and seen. 

Teshay Makeda
The award winning South London Native Teshay Makeda, fuses Reggae, Soul & Rnb creating her own dynamic genre dubbed ’Roots Soul’. Teshay Makeda uses her music to spread messages of divinity and higher power. Her songwriting is a vibrant, contemporary take on expressing spirituality through song. Makeda recorded her highly anticipated 8 track EP ‘Omega Mother Goddess’. Released in 2021, this EP was shortlisted for Reggaeville’s ‘Album of the Year’ it explores the Roots and Soul of the ‘Divine Feminine’, providing a quirky introduction to Teshay Makeda’s Jamaican influenced London twang. Known for her powerful vocals, Teshay Makeda’s voice exudes her purpose to heal, ground, and connect with her listeners.
