Explore genuine transformation through the visionary work of Yat Malmgren in theory, and in practice in this workshop series with acting teacher and coach, Matthew Wernham.
In these sessions you will move your body, develop your expressive range, understand the inner life of your characters, its source and how to reveal it through action.
These workshops are aimed at actors in the early stages of their career who have trained or who have some professional experience.
Part 1 – Movement and Theory – Core Physical and Psychological Concepts
18:30 – 21:30 July 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10 (5 sessions)
Part 2 – Application and Practice – Character Analysis and Scenario Creation
18:30 – 21:30 Mondays: September 7, 14, 21, 28 & October 5 (5 sessions)
The fee for both parts is £450 inc £100 deposit* or, individually, £275 inc £50 deposit*
A cover letter, written or recorded, detailing your experience and interest is required to secure one of a limited number of places.

Alumni of previous Studio Six workshops are invited to join individual sessions on a drop in basis at the discounted rate of £40 per session.

Having taught at Drama Centre London and RADA, Mathew is currently an assistant professor at LAMDA in both Acting and Movement departments. In addition, he works professionally as a movement director and acting coach. He has helped actors prepare for roles at The National Theatre, The RSC, The Young Vic, Almeida Theatre as well as for television (The Magnificent Seven – Amazon Prime, House of the Dragon – HBO, The Witcher – Netflix, Strike – BBC) and upcoming film, Cry to Heaven by Tom Ford.
