Impermanence Dance Theatre presents… SEXBOX

30 Nov – 3 Dec | Showroom Big Space | 8pm | £12

Version 2 sexbox-square-400-9 Version 2 Version 2 Version 2

Freshly stepping out of their Orgone Accumulator this autumn, Impermanence are blowing themselves up and climaxing just for you. Looking at sex through the eyes and ears of private musician Ursula Bogner, you’ll be taken deep into stranger and stranger domains of liberation, perversion and sensuality.

Bogner was a pioneer of electronic music who composed from her DIY studio in suburban Germany from the 1960s onwards. She became fascinated with the writings of Wilhelm Reich, a controversial feminist psychoanalyst for whom a healthy discharge of sexual energy was the crux of humanity’s salvation.

After their international tour of Da-Da-Darling, (Top 10 dance shows, Observer Critics Review of 2015) Impermanence are coming back all over you with this brand spanking new show.

Tom Marshman presents Kings Cross (REMIX)

Kings Cross (Remix) – uncovers the hidden histories of LGBT communities in London during the 1980s through memories of the Kings Cross area: an area that has undergone radical change since its days as a hub of LGBT communities, bars and culture. Woven together from the stories of the people who experienced it first hand, Tom’s show celebrates a raucous, riotous time in the life of central London where sexuality was for exploring, HIV was causing tragedy, and rights were to be fought for.
