Hold on to your hats, it’s PLAY time!

After sell-out success at VAULT Festival 2016, this June we’ll be at Hackney Showroom with an extra-special- birthday-bonanza in celebration of our 1st Birthday. In the last year we’ve worked with over 60 of the brightest and best emerging actors, writers and directors to produce 16 award-winning brand new PLAYs.

We’ll be bringing together a company of the hottest creatives – 10 Actors, 4 Writers, 4 Directors – to share a PLAYroom, giving them just two weeks to collaborate, devise and create 4 brand new PLAYs.

PLAY is an award-winning theatre company championing a new approach to new writing with it’s emphasis firmly on collaboration. In an increasingly challenging climate we want to support the next generation of creative talent and make theatre that is fresh and immediate. We want to bring PLAYfulness back to the heart of PLAYmaking.
