Fanny and Stella

16 – 17 April | 7.30pm | £6 | Studio Work-in-Progress

Trial of the century. Society outraged. Men dressed as ladies. Or the other way round? Hard to tell these days. These days being 1870.

An explosive new musical retelling of the scandal that rocked the Victorian era, and the two young hell-raisers at the centre of it all. These work-in-progress performances unite Dylan Townley (‘towering, droll and self-effacing’ – The Times, for How to Win Against History) and Sam Plumb (‘stunning’ – Steve Waters, writer) with acclaimed director Alex Swift (How to Win Against History, Mess). Supported by Arts Council England.

True crime never looked queerer.
